GT-S5570 Support - Flash Firmware on your device

Mobile ODIN Lite v3.57 GT-S5570 Support - Flash Firmware on your device

Mobile ODIN is the on-device firmware flasher of choice. Just throw
those firmware files on your (internal or external) SD card, start
Mobile ODIN and flash away.

Download this file:

[apk] Mobile ODIN Lite v3.57 (GT-S5570 Support)

http://www.mediafire.com/?b83dkv34vabpdwj

[apk] Mobile ODIN FlashKernel GT-S5570

http://www.mediafire.com/?b1tmbmpje3ny9lq

Please don't make mirror

Flashing Method for One Package:

1. Install both apk you've downloaded

2. Open Mobile ODIN Lite

3. Tap "Open file ..."

4. Select the firmware file (. tar /. tar.md5)

5. Tap "Flash Firmware"

6. Wait until the process is complete

Mobile ODIN v3.65

Mobile ODIN is the on-device firmware flasher of choice. Just throw
those firmware files on your (internal or external) SD card, start
Mobile ODIN and flash away.

! Your device must be rooted to be able to use Mobile ODIN. Check the list below to see if your device is supported !

If you use the EverRoot option (Market/Pro version only), Mobile ODIN
will root the firmware while you flash it. Checking out that new leaked
firmware? No reason to lose root!

All partitions are supported, as are loose files, .tar files and
.tar.md5 files. Mobile ODIN will even check the MD5 signatures before
flashing. While in theory Mobile ODIN can repartition and flash EFS and
bootloaders, it will cowardly refuse to do so, for your own safety.

Flashing with Mobile ODIN does NOT increase your custom kernel flash counter or make the yellow warning triangle appear.

! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !

Credits

Aside from my own CF-Root-based flashkernels, Mobile ODIN also uses (with permission) flashkernels built by these users:

- Codeworkx (I777, D710)

- Skin1980 (I9003)

- Kyuta Syoko (I896, I897)

- Psyke83 (I5500)

Also many thanks to the various testers!

Download

Mobile ODIN Pro - Android Market / Google Play

Attached is the Lite version of Mobile ODIN - this is a release exclusive to XDA and may not be redistributed ! Please note that you also need to download and install a "FlashKernel" manually if you are using the Lite version. These are listed a few posts down from here. The Pro version will automatically download and install these for you when needed.

No need to blah blah in forum "Please Support this Phone XX-XXX"... You can do the JOB on your OWN! - FEEL THE REAL POWER

Simple FAQ about APeT 3.0:

Q: Can I use Large ALL-IN-ONE TAR.MD5 Files which I downloaded freely from Internet?
A: Yes, just as long as the ALL-IN-ONE File have complete BOOTLOADERS Inside.

Q: Where can I find official TAR.MD5 BL (BOOTLOADER) Files?
A: You can find them on Paid GSM File Servers. (You Pay them for a Reason)

Q: I don't want to PAY... Will ATF Team upload these BL Files in their Server for End Users to Download?
A: Yes, but as of now we are still busy COLLECTING BL Files.

Q: Will writing Official TAR.MD5 erase my EFS, Modemst1, modemfsc etc?
A: No, it will just flash the phone like ODIN but via eMMC Connection.

Q: Will writing Official TAR.MD5 FIX my efs.img.ext4, modemst1, modemfsc, mdm1m9kefs1 etc?
A: No, other steps are needed to fix them after a Successful BOOT Repair.

Q: Will writing official TAR.MD5 revive my phone which was killed by Wrong Unlocking Methods?
A: Depends on Phone Model and Security Level. We found newer phones have difficulty reviving after Wrong Unlocking Methods.

Q: Can I use TAR backups made by other tools?
A: No. If the TAR is NOT OFFICIAL, ATF will NOT support it.

Q: Will it fix MBR, GPT, PIT problems like when a Brand New BLANK eMMC is used?
A: Yes, it has a "Re-Partition" Option like ODIN... Provided you have the correct PIT File for your Phone.

Q: So NEW Samsung Phones are Supported... But how about OLDER Samsung Phones?
A: Currently only Samsung Android Phones using GUID Partition Tables are supported.

Q: Will ATF Professional eMMC Tool (APeT) always be FREE for ALL ATF End Users?
A:
For Now Yes... But further research on newer More Expensive Phones
might require us to charge a small fee for practical reasons.

Q: I always have problems connecting eMMC on Phone PCB, what do you think is my Problem?
A: If the problem is not your SKILL, then it is your eMMC Power Adapter. Try to use Original SmartGSM 4-in-1 V2 Adapters.

Who will buy this if you can get more in ATF?

----- SHORT DECLARATION -----

PDA refers to the build version of the firmware

Phone refers to the baseband/modem version

CSC is the consumer software
customisation and is specific to geographical region and carriers. It
contains the software packages specific to that region, carrier branding
and also APN settings for data connection, MMS etc for your service
provider.

CSC has nothing to do with what languages the firmware supports and it will not add keyboard language support either.

.PIT refers to the partition information
table you only need it if you screw up your partition table or if the
firmware specifically requires it because of a change in the partition
table layout. It's very likely you may never have to use this.

If the package only contains one .tar archive then it will have everything, pda+phone+csc, in the one file.

If it has multiple .tar archive then:

• The .tar with modem in the name is the phone/baseband bit of the package

• .tar with csc/multi-csc in the name is the csc bit of the package

• .tar with code/PDA in the name is the PDA part of the firmware package

If this is the case you will need to put these .tar archives in the specific areas of Odin to flash the update

Quote:

You do not need to root or unroot the device to update the official firmware.

Please ensure that KIES is closed and not running in the system tray!
Kies doesn't like Odin, it's like the big brother who's always jealous
that his little brother is getting to flash all the phones so he starts
to flash block.

Regarding change logs. Samsung thinks firmware should be like a box of
chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get and that all a big part
of the surprise user experience program so they don't publish any
change logs.

Quote:

Get -->Odin3+v1.85<--

Just extract Odin folder and keep the odin3.ini file in it.]

----- [GUIDE] METHOD 1 -----

Quote:

----- FLASHING WITH ODIN v1.85 -----

1. Just download the firmware version you want from the second or third
posts and extract the .tar or .tar.md5 file in the archive and save it
somewhere

2. Reboot your phone to download mode.

To get download mode shut down the device. After it shuts off completely
simultaneously press the Down volume key+press the power button .

You should see a warning asking you to press volume up if you want to
continue or volume down to cancel, press volume up. You are now in
download mode!

3. Start Odin

4. Click on the PDA button and browse to the .tar or .tar.md5 file that you extracted in step 1

If the package has more than one .tar archive then they will be labelled
with PDA, Phone/Modem and CSC. Just put them in the corresponding
section of Odin

5. PLEASE DO NOT PUT .PIT FILE AND DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TICK REPARTITION.

Should look like this screenshot:

If the package contains 3 files it should look like this:

6. Connect the USB cable and wait for the ID:COM section to turn yellow

7. Click start to flash

8. Do not disconnect the cable or turn off the device, it will reboot when it finishes.

Quote:

It will not wipe your phone if you flash as recommended

You will lose root if your device was rooted!!

In case to fulfill warranty requirements you need a clean installed firmware.

The best way to do that is installing the right firmware wich at the same time unroot your device.

----- [GUIDE] METHOD 2 -----

Quote:

----- FLASHING WITH MOBILE ODIN PRO -----

Quote:

----- SHORT INTRODUCING -----

Quote:

Mobile ODIN - Full firmware flashing straight from the device itself!

Mobile ODIN is the on-device firmware flasher of choice. Just throw
those firmware files on your (internal or external) SD card, start
Mobile ODIN and flash away.

!!! Your device must be rooted to be able to use Mobile ODIN. Check the list below to see if your device is supported !!!

If you use the EverRoot option, Mobile ODIN will root the firmware while
you flash it. Checking out that new leaked firmware? No reason to lose
root!

Flashing with Mobile ODIN does NOT increase your custom kernel flash counter or make the yellow warning triangle appear.

All partitions are supported, as are loose
files, .tar files and .tar.md5 files. Mobile ODIN will even check the
MD5 signatures before flashing. While in theory Mobile ODIN can
repartition and flash EFS and bootloaders, it will cowardly refuse to do
so, for your own safety.

! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !

Owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) residing in South
Asia and other countries like India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and
Thailand recently started receiving the official Android 4.1.2 Jelly
Bean update (N7100XXDMA6).

Coming with key bug fixes and performance enhancements, the new
firmware update should be available as an over-the-air (OTA) update for
the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) running on official firmware in the
supported countries. The firmware can also be downloaded from Samsung
Kies.

However, if you are still facing difficulties in updating your device
to the new firmware build, you can do it by installing Android 4.1.2
Jelly Bean update (N7100XXDMA6) manually on your Galaxy Note 2.

Take a look at the official firmware details below:

The installation procedure explained below includes a tool called
ODIN, which is required to flash the stock 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware in
Galaxy Note 2 N7100. Users are also recommended to take proper backups
of their data.

There are certain other vital aspects to keep in mind:

- The device must have at least 80 percent battery power

- There should be backup for the EFS Folder

- USB drivers for the device must be installed on the computer

- USB Debugging must be enabled

- After flashing the firmware, you will lose custom ROMs such as CM10, Paranoid Android or AOKP installed in your device

- You will also lose custom recovery such as ClockworkMod Recovery or TWRP Recovery if you have any

- After installing the firmware on your Galaxy Note 2, you will lose root if you have any

Users should also take note that this tutorial is only for Samsung
Galaxy Note 2, model number GT- N7100. Therefore it should not be tried
on any other Android device.

In addition, users must proceed at their own risk. IBTimes cannot be held responsible for anything that goes wrong.

Step 1: Download Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (N7100XXDMA6) for Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) and extract the file.

Step 4: Run Odin 3.07.exe as an Administrator.

Step 5: Connect Galaxy Note 2 to your computer via
the USB while it is on the Download Mode. If the device is connected
properly, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port
number.

Step 6: Select the following files in the Odin at relevant tabs from extracted N7100XXDMA6 firmware folder:

- Click on PDA and select file with CODE in its name

- Click on Phone and select file with MODEM in its name (Ignore this step if there is no such file)

- Click on CSC and select file with CSC in its name (Ignore this step if there is no such file)

- Click on PIT and select the .pit file. Use this file only if you
get it while extracting the zip file mentioned in step 1 or else just
ignore it

Step 7: In the Odin window, ensure that Auto Reboot
and F. Reset Time checkboxes are selected. Also, if you are using a .pit
file, ensure that re-partition checkbox is selected. Otherwise, it
should not be ticked.

Step 8: Click on the Start button to begin flashing.

Step 9: After flashing is done, you will see a “pass” message with a green background in the left-most box at the top of the Odin.

you get the Samsung logo on the home screen, you can disconnect the
